Bishop John Sherrington, Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster, attended an event on Wednesday 7 June organised by the British Muslim Forum to pray for the victims of the Manchester Arena terror attack and Saturday's atrocity at London Bridge and Borough Market.

The imams earlier released a public message to extremists denouncing terrorist violence and to make it clear "there is no religious justification in the taking of innocent lives".

Bishop Sherrington joined the imams and faith leaders from Jewish and Christian communities as they walked from the Shard to a memorial at London Bridge.
