Climate Change concerns as flood devastates Nigeria's most expensive neighbourhoods in Lagos

Nigeria's most exotic neighbourhoods , which are homes for many top government officials, serving and retired, have been submerged by flood, thus fueling calls by citizens for governments in the country to as a matter of urgency , put mechanisms in place to check climate change, which is the reason for the recurrent flood attacks these days.

After nearly one week of continuous rainfall in Lagos,the country's commercial nerve centre and going by the predictions that the rains may continue for another 2 weeks, there has been panic among Lagos residents that a widespread flood disaster May be imminent in the state.
