In this episode the MOAS Podcast explores the deadly and financially lucrative world of Human Trafficking in Libya and Niger. We’ll learn about the victims who face a deadly and uncertain future, how integral the trade is to communities across Libya and the internal and external influences that shape Libya’s political and economic future. Then we head back South to Agadez, Niger, one of Sub-Saharan Africa’s major departure points. We’ll find out more about the response from UNHCR and IOM as they try to mitigate the impact of trafficking and smuggling.
