Wouldn’t it be easier if your life came with an instruction manual? Whenever you had questions, you could simply consult the instruction book and voilà, the answer would be right there in black and white—problem solved. You wouldn’t have to cope with mistakes, failures, decisions, changes, doubts, and the unexpected. (On the other hand, there wouldn’t be any surprises, either.)
