Kent still have a chance to qualify for the T20 Blast quarter-finals thanks to an 11-run victory against Essex. The Spitfires posted 221-2 at Chelmsford due largely to a new T20 high score for Kent of 127 from Joe Denly and a world record opening stand of 207 he shared with partner Daniel Bell-Drummond who was 80 not out. Afterwards the pair spoke to our Sports Editor Matt Cole.
