The swifts of Ostuni, Italy

Every evening at dusk, in the centre of Ostuni in Puglia, Italy, hundreds of swifts come out and fill the sky with their screeching calls. This is their time, and the Citta Bianca is their city - its inhabitants simply have to coexist on the ground, with the swifts circling above. Recorded by Cities and Memory, June 2017.
