EU says NI 'should have different Brexit deal' - does that sound like 'special status'?

A unique solution for Northern Ireland that will differ from the Brexit settlement for the rest of the UK. That's what the BBC understands the EU will call for later today. The proposals will be contained in a series of position papers to be published by the EU's chief negotiator Michel Barnier. It sounds suspiciously like a form of "special status". That's what the SDLP and Sinn Fein have been calling for. But the Ulster unionists and DUP both oppose such a move. Stephen got the views of SDLP MLA Claire Hanna and Sinn Fein's John O'Dowd.
