In episode 27 of Faithcast, Brenda speaks to Bishop Kevin Doran, Bishop of Elphin and Day for Life delegate about this year’s Day for Life pastoral message. Brenda also apeaks to Father Cathal Deery, a priest of the Diocese of Clogher, about the ‘Living With Suicide’ retreat on Lough Derg.

The faith news this week features Bishop John Kirby’s comments at a Mass to mark the 60th anniversary of the Irish Chaplaincy’s work to support Irish emigrants in London; the annual meeting of National Directors for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Refugees which took place in Rome from 21 – 23 September; the appointment of Father La Flynn as Prior of Lough Derg; Archbishop Eamon Martin’s comments at a special Mass in Inishowen for his great-uncle Edward Doherty and the estimated 250 people from the area who died in WWI; and, Pope Francis’ invitation to all of us to ‘Share the Journey’ of migrants and refugees.
