*The mysteries of antimatter continue to puzzle physicists New super-precise measurements by physicists have placed new constraints on the differences between matter and antimatter. The new result improves by a factor 350 the precision of the previous measurement and allows physicists to compare matter and antimatter with an unprecedented accuracy.
*New ways to determine the size of monster black holes Astronomers have discovered what could be an easy way to determine the size of a spiral galaxies supermassive black hole. The findings claim there’s a direct relationship between the geometry of some types of spiral galaxies and the hidden super massive black hole at their centres.
*The origins of rich organic material on the dwarf planet Ceres A new study claims organic rich material discovered on the dwarf planet Ceres is most likely native to the tiny frozen world. The organics were detected by NASA’s Dawn spacecraft and were originally thought to have been deposited there by comet or asteroid impacts.
*Dawn mission extended at Ceres NASA has authorized a second extension of the Dawn mission at Ceres. During this extension, the spacecraft will descend to lower altitudes than ever before.
*Spacewalk terminated early Astronauts aboard the International Space Station were twice forced to undertake emergency repairs to one of their space suites during a scheduled spacewalk. NASA, astronaut Joe Acaba was just an hour into the seven hour spacewalk when NASA mission controllers noticed one of his safety tethers was frayed and damaged.
*SpaceX makes it 15 launches so far this year A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket has successfully placed the EchoStar 105/SES-11 telecommunications satellite into orbit. The flight came just three days after the company’s last launch and is the 15th SpaceX Falcon 9 flight this year.
*NROL-52 spy satellite launch A new classified spy satellite has blasted into space for America’s highly secretive National Reconnaissance Office. The missions top secret payload is the new fourth generation SDS or Space Data System communications relay satellite.
*The Science Report Study confirms kids raised by same-sex couples do as well as those raised by straight parents. Pollution now linked to one in every six deaths worldwide. Scientists find cause of World’s worst mud volcano eruption. Palaeontologists study new Tyrannosaur Dinosaur fossil. Using online advertising to stalk people
