Better late than never eh!

The Football Verdict podcast is a day late this week thanks to Danny's annual day off (he's allowed one to be fair) but worry no more as everyone's favourite podcast is back – all's well that ends well eh!

This week in the #PremierLeague, Jose and #MUFC got back to winning ways after their shock defeat to Huddersfield last week with a big win against title rivals #THFC who were missing Harry Kane.

#LFC, who fell victims to Spurs last week a Wembley, also managed to get a much needed win against #HTAFC in a convincing 3-0 home win.

League leaders #MCFC won AGAIN at the Hawthorns againstb #WBAFC – but they didn't have it all their own way conceding two goals.

Elsewhere #AFC made hard work of it but they managed to overcome a resilient #Swans side at the Emirates and #CFC got another win at #AFCB - their second win on the bounce since the shock defeat to Crystal Palace.

This week #CPFC snatched a draw from the realms of defeat after they went 2-0 down at home to #WHUFC with Zaha being the hero in the 96th minute, and surprise package #WatfordFC surprisingly fell at home to #SCFC – a result that will ease some of the pressure on Potters boss Mark Hughes.

On Sunday the pressure mounted on #EFC in their search for a manager when they went down with a whimper at #LCFC who got their first win over Claude Puel, and #BHAFC got another important point on the board in their battle for survival , and on #MNF it was #BurnleyFC who got the three points against an #NUFC side who have done well this season under Rafa.

In the #Championship #SUFC went top of the league with a win at Elland Road against Yorkshire rivals #LUFC, as #CCFC couldn't break down a resilient #MillwallFC side and #WWFC fell to a shock defeat to #QPRFC at Loftus Road.

In the lower leagues #BCAFC were the big winners thanks to a 1-0 away at #Pompey as #WAFC could only manage a scoreless draw against #BRFC and #Shrews lost their first game of the season.

In League Two there were a few eyebrows raised after #CoventryCity won 3-0 at #LTFC so were leapfrogged by #Notts & #ASFC who enjoyed home wins in their games.
