Judgement Day as Cup Fever Hits West London - Notts County pre FA Cup match podcast
It’s time to forget the league for the week as the Beesotted crew are feeling a bit under the weather. Yes they’ve got cup fever as Brentford welcome Notts County to Griffin Park on Saturday in the FA Cup 3rd Round.
And after what has seemed like an eternity touring the pubs of West London, the characters met up in the “Virtual Joint” boozer where they discussed the recent Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves matches.
We discussed the experimental 361 article which outined Brentford as being far the most attacking team in the division but at the same time, wasteful https://experimental361.com/2017/12/31/scatter-graphics-championship-31-dec-2017/
The transfer window - which opened on 1st January and already had a few rumours flying around about Bees players.
We decided to confront the elephant in the room - ex Brentford manager Mark Warburton’s departure from Nottingham Forest. Where does he - and his team of David Weir and Frank McParland - go from here? And recalled the tete-a-tete Beesotted had recently on social media with Guardian Journalist and Nottingham Forest fan Daniel Taylor (https://twitter.com/dtguardian/status/947417279507193857) who lambasted Brentford for the Warburton incident three years ago (https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/feb/14/football-owners-silly-party-candidates-football-league). Then condoned Forest’s sacking of the manager at the end of 2017.
Plus we chat to Ade Rawden (@NottsAde) from Notts TV who gives us the lowdown on Notts County
