Bishop Enock Tombe retires from active service

Bishop Enock Tombe of the Episcopal Diocese of Rajaf has announced his retirement from active service after eight years in office.

Retired Bishop Tombe made the announcement on Sunday and said the Archbishop of the Internal Province of Central Equatoria, Paul Yugusuk, would take the mantle as Acting Bishop until a new head of diocese is elected within ninety days.

Bishop Tombe officially retired on the 9th of January as the second Bishop of the Diocese of Rajaf after replacing the late Bishop Michael Sokiri Lugör.

Besides his role in Rajaf, Bishop Tombe wears several hats, promoting peace and preaching unity throughout the country.

He spoke to reporter Charles Sworo Elisha in this exclusive interview.
