CC Extra: A Conversation with Everson Walls about His NFL Career

Jan 23, 2018, 04:16 PM

For 13 seasons (9 with the Dallas Cowboys) Everson Walls was a terror on NFL offenses. Walls had an uncanny ability to find the ball in the air, leading the NFL in interceptions on three different occasions, and retiring with the ninth most interceptions in league history.

But for all of his ball-hawking, and his ability to lock down any and every type of receiver, Walls is still not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, or even the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor. On Saturday, February 3rd, Walls will be one of 15 modern-era finalists up for consideration by Hall of Fame voters. It is the farthest along in the process that Walls has ever gotten.

On today’s edition of CowboysCast, Walls stops by ahead of the vote to discuss his career in the NFL.
