Double Decker Bus To Provide Temporary Shelter For Birmingham's Homeless

The Rotary Club of Birmingham has told Capital they want to partner with local organisations to provide their new project - the Shelter Bus. National Express West Midlands has donated a double decker with plans to refurbish it with cooking, cleaning and sleeping facilities. There are also hopes for mental health counselling and medical care to be provided too. Volunteer Courtney Patrick told us they want the backing of businesses so their money goes back into the community.
