Jasvinder Sanghera from honour-based violence support charity Karma Nirvana has told Capital's Joe Tanner Sobhia Khan's partner's life sentence for her murder should send out a message for other victims to speak out.

Ataul Mustafa, 36, will spend at least 33 years in jail after she was beaten to death at the house they shared in Normanton last May.

Derby Crown Court heard he had changed his name after a previous assault led him to being taken into hospital.

A review is taking place into how he was allowed to be released back into the community.
