GIANTS forward Jonny Patton speaks to award-winning journalist Emma Quayle in the final episode of season one of The Originals.

The GIANTS' first selection in the club's first draft speaks openly about what it was like to be selected with pick one, and how playing football in Sydney helped eliminate the pressure that comes with being pick one.

Patton reveals how he came back from two successive knee injuries in 2012 and 2013, and how he felt he had a point to prove once he returned to full fitness.

The now 25-year-old speaks about how the game has changed for key forwards since he was drafted six seasons ago.

Patton also talks about how the GIANTS went from easy-beats to preliminary finalist.
