So, what was possibly the best World Cup ever has come to an end.... we know, sad times for football lovers. Aside from the goals, the drama and the giant-killings one of the main talking points of Russia 2018 has been Video Assistant Refereeing or VAR. Referee of yesterday's final between France and Croatia - Argentinian Nestor Pitina - used VAR to determine that Ivan Perisic's handball was a penalty. This is the first time the World Cup has used the new technology and it's fair to say it's split opinions amongst pundits and fans. So did the system brought in to ensure a "fairer" World Cup work? Vinny got the views of sports journalists Steven Beacom and Keith Bailie.
