A solicitor who represented an inmate charged over the Birmingham prison riots in 2016 has told Capital many say they're kept like animals in a zoo. 

Joseph Kotrie-Monson says the prison shouldn't be put back under private ownership after a six month intervention saying G4S left it to slip into crisis.
