Carton and Friends, Corey and Michelle, open the show question if LeBron James, who said on his TV debut "it took him awhile to warm up to white people...", is a racist. Corey and Carton argue that LeBron, since he learned he was a great basketball player, has been treated well by the white community, but Corey says it is still an issue black athletes, and just the black community, trying to get ahead; Carton thinks Corey just has not met the right people, yet. Looking at some big moves made in the NFL, Carton thinks the Jets moving Teddy Bridgewater to the Saints was a great move because it keeps him in the league, and also gives the Saints Drew Brees insurance. Carton responds to some criticism from Boomer and Gio host, Gregg Gionatto, saying it's okay to take shots at his expense, but he also should learn to be respectful.
