Sebastian Gorka: “After Judge Kavanaugh’s astounding opening statement today, if the GOP doesn’t confirm him it’s the end of the Party as we know it.” Today as a historic moment; his heartfelt cri de coeur; his Churchillian speech.

Today as a historic moment; his heartfelt cri de coeur. Bitter because we saw “the ends justify the means” approach; Kavanaugh’s Churchillian speech; God willing, this godly man will be confirmed. Lindsay Graham spoke for the Republican Party, a demonstration that this process has gone wrong, there’s reason now to wonder if any good citizen will come forth and serve on any court. . . . Rod Rosenstein trash-talked the president of the United States and offered to wear a wire. The president probably won't fire him. We’ll see a far more intense re-enactment – recall Romney at Bedminster. Let Rosenstein stew in his own juices till he realizes he has no choice but to quit. Trash talk doesn't come from good intentions. The very nature of his mealy-mouthed nondenial denial . . . I’d admire him were he to apologize to the president.
