Gabe Morency, Corey Parsons, and Michelle Serpico, open the show with Gabe saying after the Rockies big win over the Cubs, whoever wins this year's World Series will truly have to earn it, thinking there is no clear cut favorite. One of the biggest storylines from the NL Wild Card was how the Rockies played in three different cities in three days, and how the umpires blew an easy call of a double-play in the top of the 8th inning. Going over the the AL Wild Card, the gang tries to explain how the Athletics plan to use their bullpen, much like the Tampa Bay Rays, as per their starters going against Luis Severino and the Yankees; Corey says he's confident in Severino, but also worries about his last few games, especially one against the Athletics where he got clobbered. Gabe gets excited for pucks dropping tonight in the NHL, and tries to question Corey and Michelle's knowledge on current players for the Islanders and Rangers. The NBA is about to kick off, and the gang talks about how Kobe's non-flinch at Matt Barnes turned out to be a lie. Gabe explains that unlike the NBA, the MLB Playoffs field every team that can win the World Series.
