The Mayor's ball - Councillor John Le Grys explains his choice of charities for this year. Mayor's Charity Ball 2012

Date: 24th Mar 2012 Location: Town Hall and Corn Exchange, Ipswich Time: 19:00 - 00:30 Cost: £65 per ticket, or £600 for a table of 10 guests The Mayor's Charity Ball will be held on Saturday 24th March in the Town Hall and Corn Exchange, Ipswich. The evening will provide a great opportunity to raise money for the Mayor's Charities. It will be a wonderful evening starting at 7pm with a Mayoral Reception, followed by good food, great entertainment and an opportunity to raise money for the Mayor's charities. There will be an auction, tombola, and dancing to the fabulous Len Phillips Big Band. A delicious 4-course menu will consist of: Potted Salmon with pickled cucumber;


Roasted Saddle of Welsh Lamb with minted salsa verde, Dauphinoise potatoes, fine green beans and star anise jus;


Lemon Posset with lemon shortbread;


Cheese Board;
