Gabe Morency, Michelle Serpico, and Corey Parson open the show looking back at the Red Sox Game 1 World Series win over the Dodgers, with Gabe saying the game was much closer than the 8-4 final score. Gabe also says that if the Dodgers have any shot to win this series, Clayton Kershaw needs to pitch like an ace, and the defense needs to pick up the pace. Gabe and Corey can't stand watching Boston fans, who are also mostly Patriots fans, keep winning, but Corey says, Manny Machado has something up his sleeve. The gang comes up with an idea to have the studio transformed in to a tiki lounge, with Gabe saying they need to get sand. Gabe says the Lakers, starting the season 0-3, is bad for LeBron James and now are in must-win situations, but Corey says there is no such thing as a must-win NBA game in October; Gabe says LeBron James, unlike Jerry West, Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant, is not a pure Laker. The gang looks at how Rajon Rondo is calling Chris Paul a bad teammate, which opens a discussion as to wondering if anyone actually spit on Paul in the Rockets-Lakers brawl over the weekend. Looking at the Giants' fire sale, the crew is happy the team was able to trade Eli, until realizing it was cornerback Eli Apple.
