Voluntourism and The Canned Hunting Trade in South Africa
In today’s episode I talk to Steph Noble, a regular volunteer in various parts of the world and a lover of big cats. Since discovering her passion for wildlife conservation, Steph has sought out opportunities to further her knowledge and experience in the field, as well as use the opportunity to see more of the world.
This episode was recorded during a press trip to Lionsrock Big Cat Sanctuary and Lodge where I met Steph as she was currently volunteering there. We discuss all things volunteering abroad, as well an important discussion regarding the issue of breeding farms and canned hunting which is currently happening in South Africa.
