Episode 2: Elana / Waiting

This week we take a trip back to the 00’s with Isaac’s protege and colleague Elana, a fledgling filmmaker with a fiery mind and mouth.
She actually kept us “waiting" and then brought us WAITING, a 2006 comedy in the vein of American Pie but without that films crude charm.

THIS EPISODE WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS. OBVS.

WAITING contains a host of familiar faces including a pre Deadpool Ryan Reynolds so we were hoping for something funny and entertaining but were actually pretty mortified by the style, tone and content of the humour on show.

The 00’s was definitely a simpler time and this film is definitely a product of that era and most definitely a pre #metoo product. You have been warned.

So with two bags of non vegan sweet and after consuming beers and a bottle of wine we discussed what we were served, which was surprisingly suspect.
