Patient Participation Groups (PPGS)

Mar 15, 2012, 02:37 PM

Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) are made up of people who use particular GP surgeries. These people are able to talk directly to the GPs and managers running a surgery about issues that are important to patients. Bradford LINk is working with the Local Authority and Primary Care Trust to see how we can help members of these groups have a stronger voice in new health structures and positively influence decisions being made about the services they use. Listen to find out more about the project we are working on in Airedale, Craven and Wharfedale and why patients there want to be involved.
