Craic On Episode 13 - Technology can change lives (A volunteer perspective)
Since 2013, Anne has been helping people who have experienced sight loss to upskill on the computer and use assistive technology such as ZoomText or JAWS in order to increase their chances in securing paid employment, or stay in their current job.
More recently, she has been helping people get to grips with the latest phones and tablets to help make life that bit easier and enjoyable – from learning how to shop online, to keeping track of appointments and staying in touch with friends and family.
We’re currently looking for more people like Anne who are willing to share some of their time to help people with sight loss get online and make the most of technology. Browse our current opportunities at rnib.org.uk/volunteering
