France is in the midst of a campaign to elect a new President. With just over a month to go until the first round of voting, there has been a heated debate around the issue of immigration and the slaughter of animals according to religious tradition. And this isn't a discussion that's been the exclusive preserve of France's anti immigrant Front National, Mr Sarkozy's party has joined in too. Ritula Shah interviews Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, President of the conference of European Rabbis & Jacques Myard, an MP from France's ruling UMP.
