Episode 44 of Faithcast features an interview with Pamela McLoughlin from Veritas Publications about their 50 years in publishing and some of their new titles for 2019. 

The faith news this week features the statement from the leaders of Ireland's main Churches on the talks between Northern Ireland's political parties to restore the devolved institutions; Bishop Donal McKeown's homily for Vocations Sunday 2019; The Vatican's call for the promotion of the family as the fundamental and basic unit of all societies; a survey of Sacramental practice in the Archdiocese of Dublin finds that there is a strong demand for parents and parishes to play a much great role in preparing children for sacraments;  and Accord Catholic Marriage Care Service CLG says 'THANK YOU' to its volunteers nationwide during National Volunteering Week.
