Bill Buckner Passes Away at 69; Dustin Pedroia Contemplates Retirement as Red Sox Pound Cleveland Indians 12-5

It was a somber day for the Fenway Faithful.

Bill Buckner passed away at the age of 69 after a tough battle with dementia. Dustin Pedroia, a beloved face of the organization for the past ten plus years, is contemplating retirement.

The good news is that the Red Sox absolutely demolished the Cleveland Indians 12-5 last night as J.D. Martinez went yard twice and Rick Porcello evened out his record at 4-4 despite a shaky first inning.

Tonight, it's a David versus Goliath story. David Price has the mound for the Red Sox just three days after exiting his start early against the Astros.

On the other side is the quickly rising 24-year-old Zac Plesac, who jumped to the majors in just nine minor league performances.

Tune in at 7:10 to see how the matchup plays out.
