Jun 19, 2019, 03:10 PM
John was working as a bookkeeper in Dublin when he realised he was going to lose more of his sight due to Retinitis Pigmentosa, and stumbled across the idea that he could retrain as a physiotherapist. He now runs his own practice in Derry/Londonderry and has a few words of wisdom to share in getting to grips with changes to your life due to sight loss.

John says "Embarrassment is not a life threatening condition. It's uncomfortable, but it gets easier.  Gaining confidence takes practice"
