Summer Break 2019 - Sheffield United
Back in 2006/07, it was Neil Warnock’s Sheffield United who had their turn at being the highest placed Sheffield side in the league structure. It lasted a year and, to this day, Warnock maintains that it was all Carlos Tevez’s fault.
This time around, the club has a markedly different feel. Chris Wilder has carried the club up two divisions and got them playing a smart, tactically astute football with a minimal wage bill.
Will Wilder succeed where Warnock faltered? Is the Premier League a step too far? Or will the last season set up the Blades to cause a shock?
