Bulls lacked experience insists Slade

The predominantly young Hereford squad sent out against Alfreton didn't live up to the standard set maintained Bulls boss Russell Slade in his post match review of the match.

Hereford lacked a cutting edge in their 2-1 defeat - their first home league defeat of the season - with Slade insisting the players have the ability, but did not show the character and determination necessary to force a result.

Slade made 6 changes to the side that secured a creditable 0-0 draw at Darlington ten days ago and had hoped to move into the play-off position with a win. However, defeat means the Bulls remain in a mid-table slot and will have to improve markedly at Altrincham on Saturday.
