How the two sides hear the same words:

I hear “impeachment” as regicide.

The other side hears “impeachment” as Constitutional order.

One half of the country is engaged in an elaborate ceremonial called impeachment all for themselves; they believe that everything they do is right correct, true; that they're the only keepers of the flame, the only keepers of virtue in the eyes of God. Cannot understand the others because by definition they’re evil and corrupt.

The breakdown of activity is military violence; these breakdowns long precede the period of military violence. Now, final choices are being made that will decide the future, I fear. Wherever you stand, no capacity to open any kind of communication to allow us to reclaim the now-lapsed Constitutional order.

It's the irreconcilability that counts; no possibility for reconciliation – it’s the path we’re on, and no escaping it.
