Al Kite failed to show up for work in 2004; he was later found methodically tortured in his basement. Who was his killer?

Al Kite was found murdered on 24 May 2004. He had recently rented a room to "Robert Cooper." It is suspected that his new roommate systematically planned his killing- from disguising his identity to the torture he employed. This murder remains unsolved today.
