Just three days to go now until the first round of the French presidential elections. The latest opinion polls suggest that the Socialist party candidate, Francois Hollande, will beat Nicholas Sarkozy after a campaign that's been dominated by the economy, immigration and France's relations with the rest of the EU. One thing all the main candidates seem to have agreed on is the need to protect France and the French way of life from a range of global threats. Ritula Shah is in France, and reports now from the historic city of Clermont Ferrand on why some voters say they feel alienated from their own country and others say they are fearful of the way it is changing.
