Veronique de Rugy, Mercatus Center, in re: Thirty-year mortgage under 3% for the first time ever. Did the Federal Reserve create this? Will it be permanent?  No; but it’s a great moment to accumulate debt.  This is a perfect environment in which to cut spending, but both parties [rush headlong into increasing debt].   A permanent debt crisis.
