1960’s Michigan. Teenage boys were engrossed in the fantasy comic book land of “alien beings” and other science fiction. Steve Ward was one of those teens. Until one day, much to his surprise, suddenly nearby communities began reporting unexplained UFO phenomena and other supernatural encounters. Although he couldn’t yet drive, this didn’t stop Steve from beginning his journey to better understand what was going on in the real world, which very much resembled what was represented in the comic books he loved to read by flashlight.
