Yesterday, the Court of Appeal issued its long-awaited judgment on a case that has huge implications for the NHS and much significance for every other public body as well. Royal Brompton lost; the original decision was overturned, and whilst not exactly a surprise, the judgment is full of important signals for those engaged in public consultations.
