CPR induced consciousness is rare but can have a significant impact on how we deliver care.
CPR induced consciousness or CPRIC, is a phenomenon where by the CPR being performed is so effective, that it produces varying states of consciousness.
Your patient is in VF arrest, but may be "politely" asking you to get off their chest
Management is based on reducing awareness, recall and pain, as well as gaining control of the patient to facilitate resuscitation.
