Victor Davis Hanson: @VDHanson; Hoover Institution, and The Case for Trump,in re: The US Citizenship Act of 2021.  Did the campaign promise this was coming?  It’ll be done mostly by executive orders, since most American don't support it. Simpson-Mazzoli Act of 1986.  This is being done in the middle of a pandemic: we’re telling the Southern Hemisphere that they can come n, but US citizens may not cross their own state borders.  Yale study: there are not 11 million undocumented aliens here; more like 22 million.  People here already who’ve gone through the legal process and are still waiting: they might as well go to Mexico and cross the border illegally. This isn’t even traditional Democraticism.  . . .When it gets too big, we’ll just arrange another amnesty. During the campaign, he sat in his basement, never said, “I’ll stop pipelines and fracking, and open the southern border to caravans.”  https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-biden-immigration-bills-idUSKBN2AI2AI
