Death, Dying, Grief and the Unexpected. Dr. Ken Doka is a Grief specialist who reminds us there can be a bit of extraordinary when life shows you the exit. “It sucks that we miss people like that. You think you've accepted that someone is out of your life, that you've grieved and it's over, and then bam. One little thing, and you feel like you've lost that person all over again.” - Rachel Hawkins, Demonglass

"Science has found that nothing can disappear without a trace. Nature does not know extinction. All it knows is transformation." -
Wernher von Braun, NASA Aerospace Engineer, believed in life after death. Express.co

Paranormal experiences known to happen during the death process include precognition, terminal lucidity, coincidences, sensory presence: smells, sounds, visitations and the like.

Not everyone feels comfortable addressing any of that - and yet - it happens. Dr. Doka discovered when he addressed the unconventional  elements related to dying during his presentations - the more you talk about it - the more people feel secure enough to 'come out of the closet' to share their own experiences. Introduction. p7.

Dr. Doka has intentionally provided a wide range of anecdotal stories along with his own personal experiences with notes on relevant research and data that supports the claims. Even so, he leaves it up to the reader to decide what to believe.

This is a timely topic.
