The title will be contested by Caracas FC, Deportivo Tachira, Estudiantes de Merida, Deportivo La Guaira, Deportivo Lara, and Monagas with the top four qualifying for the 2022 Copa Libertadores and the bottom two for the Copa Sudamericana.
Academia Puerto Cabello, Metropolitanos, Portuguesa, Aragua, and Hermanos Colmenarez will compete for two Copa Sudamericana places.
