Laila Marie Daniel in her two short years of life endured more trauma and abuse than most can comprehend. Although her story is incredibly difficult to hear, it is crucial in bringing awareness to how children still fall through the cracks as they enter the system. Laila Daniel and her sister Millie Place experienced what true evil is… someone in a position of power, using their status to abuse and hurt others. Laila couldn’t ask for help, but we hope that her story can be a voice In preventing cases like this from ever happening again.
