Let the Poet's Speak 2022: Know Your Worth

Season 3, Episode 2,  Feb 11, 11:11 PM

The open mic event connects artists, entrepreneurs, and helping professionals promote wellness in the community. This year we want to allow local artists and students to see themselves on a big stage for an important cause, Mental Health awareness, and the celebration of Black History Month.

Let the Poets Speak is an annual event and fundraiser for the San Diego Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) this year hosted in collaboration with the Black Resource Center (BRC), Center for Intercultural Relations (CIR), and the Harold K. Brown Knowledge, Education, and Empowerment Program (KEEP). The open mic has received generous sponsorship from Sharp Rees-Stealy, Alvarado Parkway Institute Behavioral Health Center, Mesa College Black Studies Dept., CDAIE, AIU Diversity Committee, and the San Diego Psychological Association.

Tickets are based on donations and all proceeds from tickets will go to support mental health efforts in our region. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/247387381317
