Nick Philips, cryptic curiosity’s is a USA collector of a number of different and unusual items, in his own words, “the difference between a hoarder and a collector is shelves”. If I lived near Nick I would be in his company most weeks, his knowledge of items is incredible and he finds beauty and fascination in items that most wouldn’t see. We focused mainly on the ancient antidote Bezoars, as featured in the Harry Potter books, also the grand tour iron maiden torture device plus we talked about something very unusual, a snake handling pastor, who’s folk art is a joy to behold.
