(LC 0819) In this episode St. Peterburg Museum of History Executive Director talks with Christine Page, Executive Director of the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club locates on Mirror Lake in downtown St. Pete.

When the village of St. Petersburg was originally platted in the late 1800s,
there was one block of green space for a city park. In 1908 it was named
Williams Park. It became the center of city leisure activities. By 1920, too
many leisure activities. Residents began complaining that games for leisure
