Joe Okada is a Wisconsin angler that guides and fishes tournaments as well as produces content for himself and other companies. In this interview we have Joe breakdown one of his most memorable tournament stories from the 2024 season. The Montana Governors Cup walleye tournament is a very competitive tournament comprised of a large boat field on Ft. Peck reservoir in eastern Montana. Many of the competitors have a tremendous amount of experience on this body of water but one thing that makes this story interesting is that Joe Okada had never fished Ft. Peck ever before. I enjoy Joe's perspective and opinions on anything walleye fishing related because of his lengthy, successful career in fishing. Now I had the opportunity to pick his brain about a new experience he had on one of the most popular water bodies in all of walleye fishing. This podcast is full of great information that all anglers will learn from.
