The Mystery of the White Noise Murders

This short dramatised intro file is linked to the Games Britania 2012 festival in Sheffield. It is also linked to a Games Britannia festival related Mission on the Mission Explore site. For some time now I have been keen to explore how narrative driven games such as Hotel Dusk and Hollywood Crimes 3D etc can be used to act as the stimulus to get learners to script and record their audio drama. It may even allow some to explore the genre of Noir and explore the radio serials from the 1930's, 40's & 50's.Many of which are freely available on iTunes. This starter is designed to inspire you to record what happened next, maybe head out in to the conference itself and recording authentic soundscapes of the event as you record your script ...can you solve the Mystery of the White Noise Murders?
