<v Speaker 1>is starting to fill out a little bit. We know

<v Speaker 1>that the Unified Championship will be on the line. Kazuchka Okata,

<v Speaker 1>who is not on the show tonight, is going to

<v Speaker 1>be defending his title against Swerve Strickland. We know the

<v Speaker 1>Hurt Syndicate will put their AW Tech Team titles on

<v Speaker 1>the line against the winners of this tournament that's been

<v Speaker 1>going on, which will be an AW team. We know

<v Speaker 1>Timeless Tony Storm is putting her championship on the line

<v Speaker 1>against Athena, and we know that the TBS Championship will

<v Speaker 1>be defended in a four way match. At least in

<v Speaker 1>that match they will have representatives from CMLL and from Stardom.

<v Speaker 1>And then, outside of a possible Hiroshi Tanahashi match, That's

<v Speaker 1>about all we know at this point, so not a

<v Speaker 1>whole lot of Forbidden Door influence. I think I mentioned

<v Speaker 1>last week. The g One climax is still ongoing and

<v Speaker 1>it will not end until the week before the pay

<v Speaker 1>per view, so it is entirely possible, if not probable,

<v Speaker 1>that we will not see any new japan talent on

<v Speaker 1>the show until then, like the week before the show,

<v Speaker 1>because normally Forbidden Door happens a little bit earlier. This

<v Speaker 1>year because the schedule changed a little bit, we had

<v Speaker 1>All In in July and now we have Forbidden Door

<v Speaker 1>in August, so it's a little bit weird. But in

<v Speaker 1>the main event tonight, we had MJF and Mark Briscoe

<v Speaker 1>one on one and there were no stipulations attached, no

<v Speaker 1>conditions attached to this match, but it seemed like the

<v Speaker 1>winner would probably end up challenging Hangman for the World Championship.

<v Speaker 1>And MJF beat Mark Briscoe tonight. This is the fourth

<v Speaker 1>week in a row that Mark Briscoe has been a

<v Speaker 1>part of the d of my main event, and it

<v Speaker 1>was not without controversy him getting his foot on the

<v Speaker 1>bottom rope, the idiot referee of course not seeing it, and.

<v Speaker 2>MJF is the winner. Hangman came out.

<v Speaker 1>We had a big brawl to close out the show,

<v Speaker 1>but we are really no closer to a resolution out

<v Speaker 1>of the question of who challenges him next for the Championship,

<v Speaker 1>because there's still time left between now and the pay

<v Speaker 1>per view for them to run this match back.

<v Speaker 2>Maybe not next week, but maybe in two weeks.

<v Speaker 1>So are we looking at a situation where we're getting

<v Speaker 1>one more match between MJF and Mark Brisco or are

<v Speaker 1>we looking at a situation where we may get a

<v Speaker 1>triple threat match for the aw World title of Forbidden Door.

<v Speaker 1>So that's the question coming out of this show. The

<v Speaker 1>highlight of the show tonight easily easily, I mean it's

<v Speaker 1>not even close. Was the tag team eliminator semi final match.

<v Speaker 1>I gotta tell you, the Young Bucks have in many

<v Speaker 1>ways the last few weeks, ever since they lost their

<v Speaker 1>EVP titles, have been.

<v Speaker 2>The highlight of this show.

<v Speaker 1>I don't know what that says about everybody else, but

<v Speaker 1>the whole shtick with them coming out and getting the

<v Speaker 1>jobber and send everybody making fun of them, I've been

<v Speaker 1>amused by. And then their match tonight against Brody King

<v Speaker 1>and Bendido stole the show. They went out there and

<v Speaker 1>had a great match with Broddo moving on to the

<v Speaker 1>finals of the tournament to wrestle FTR, not the Young Bucks,

<v Speaker 1>which was the right outcome, but also not just the

<v Speaker 1>right outcome, because Brodido just should have won the match

<v Speaker 1>and beaten the Young Bucks. But now it sets up

<v Speaker 1>a final honestly could go either way as far as

<v Speaker 1>who goes on to challenge Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin

<v Speaker 1>at Forbidden Doors. So at least in that match, I

<v Speaker 1>feel like there is a little bit of unpredictability as

<v Speaker 1>far as who you know who walks out with the

<v Speaker 1>w in that match. But I thought that tag team

<v Speaker 1>match tonight was easily the best thing on the entire show. Yeah,

<v Speaker 1>I mentioned the Hurt Syndicate. I'll touch upon this a

<v Speaker 1>little bit later. There was some drama involving the Hurt

<v Speaker 1>Syndicate a news report from Fightful that came out yesterday

<v Speaker 1>regarding MV. I'm sure some of you at least have

<v Speaker 1>seen it and know what I'm talking about. There's been

<v Speaker 1>a little bit of an update. We'll get into that

<v Speaker 1>a little bit later on this show. It was a

<v Speaker 1>solid show. There were some things on the show that

<v Speaker 1>I liked. It did forward some things along in terms

<v Speaker 1>of the key stories that they are trying to tell

<v Speaker 1>at the moment, including John Moxley and Darby Allen some

<v Speaker 1>other stuff with the women, which we'll get into. I

<v Speaker 1>can't tell you that this was a show where any

<v Speaker 1>one thing stood out in a spectacular way as far

<v Speaker 1>as some big angle development. The big thing that stood

<v Speaker 1>out was the tag team tournament match, and that was

<v Speaker 1>honestly it. But the rest of the stuff on the show,

<v Speaker 1>it was fine, just none of it really stood out,

<v Speaker 1>not like that tag team match. Did This is your

<v Speaker 1>And he has a championship now. Has nothing to do

<v Speaker 1>with the contract. In fact, it has nothing to do

<v Speaker 1>at all with aw but he is now a champion

<v Speaker 1>in CMLL. He's got the CMLL Light actually it's the

<v Speaker 1>CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship, is the.

<v Speaker 2>Title he won.

<v Speaker 1>He said that since Hangman refused to give him a

<v Speaker 1>world title match, one of his friends is going to pay.

<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe is looking in the eyes of the devil

<v Speaker 1>and he has no problem sending him back to hell

<v Speaker 1>or worse, to dumpster Delaware where he'll be stuck being

<v Speaker 1>a chicken farmer and a blue collar.

<v Speaker 1>oldest wrestling promotion in the world and big anniversary show

<v Speaker 1>coming up. Tony Kahan got to do the first match

<v Speaker 1>between them on his show, even though it was at

<v Speaker 1>Arena Mexico. He got to do the first match between

<v Speaker 1>them on Dynamite right on that Grand Slam show.

<v Speaker 2>I believe he's where the match took place.

<v Speaker 1>I would have to think that CMLL would like to

<v Speaker 1>have the second match, and that is where Mystico can

<v Speaker 1>take that championship away from him. So that would be

<v Speaker 1>my guess as far as what the end goal is

<v Speaker 1>of him having that title. But you know, I mentioned

<v Speaker 1>this on the podcast. And I mean, I just found

<v Speaker 1>this interesting because because we have so many championships in

<v Speaker 1>wrestling right now, just in this company alone, but even

<v Speaker 1>in WWE, there's so many championships and there's always so many,

<v Speaker 1>you know, titles changing hands at any given moment that

<v Speaker 1>it's pretty impressive. The fact that this championship, MJF is

<v Speaker 1>only the twenty first champion to hold that title. That

<v Speaker 1>title was established way back in nineteen ninety one, so

<v Speaker 1>to have twenty champions since nineteen ninety one, it's pretty impressive.

<v Speaker 1>So that struck me because I was curious and I'm like,

<v Speaker 1>I wonder, how far does the lineage go, you know,

<v Speaker 1>for this belt, And I'm like, okay, ninety one so

<v Speaker 1>you had you know, hul Cogan and the Ultimate Warrior

<v Speaker 1>wrestling the Triangle of Terror, and you had Bretthart getting

<v Speaker 1>his first real singles push, and all of these things

<v Speaker 1>that were going on in wrestling right the Boss Man

<v Speaker 1>sending the Mounty to jail. Rick Flair had just left

<v Speaker 1>the NWA or WCW that's when the title was established,

<v Speaker 1>and he's only the twenty first champions. So I have

<v Speaker 1>a feeling that number twenty two is coming very soon though,

<v Speaker 1>so The opening match tonight was John Moxley against MVP's

<v Speaker 1>favorite wrestler, speedball Mike Bailey. So Bailey exploded with some offense.

<v Speaker 1>Moxley was very preoccupied here, and he looked like he

<v Speaker 1>was preoccupied scanning the crowd looking for one Darby Allen,

<v Speaker 1>not knowing where or if he might pop up. So

<v Speaker 1>Bailey floated over in the corner. He went for a

<v Speaker 1>moon salt. Moxley poked him in the eye. Wheeler, you'd

<v Speaker 1>have took the referee that allowed Marina Shaffir to sweep

<v Speaker 1>out Bailey's leg. Shafir got in the face of Kevin Knight.

<v Speaker 1>Of course, that's Mike Bailey's tag team partner. He was

<v Speaker 1>on the outside. Moxley slapped him in the face. This

<v Speaker 1>brief distraction here allowed Bailey to hit his triangle moon salt.

<v Speaker 1>He draped Moxley over the barricade and hit a standing

<v Speaker 1>moon salt double knees that took us into the commercial break.

<v Speaker 1>Moxley regained control. During the break, Bailey battled back with

<v Speaker 1>some kicks, in a missile drop kick that landed off

<v Speaker 1>the second rope. Moxley tried to rear naked choke. Bailey

<v Speaker 1>spun out with an arm breaker, went up top for

<v Speaker 1>a shooting star press for two. Quickly though, transitioned into

<v Speaker 1>a cross arm breaker and then a triangle choke. Moxley

<v Speaker 1>he powered up. Bailey got a herd Karna back to

<v Speaker 1>the arm breaker and both men traded near falls until

<v Speaker 1>Bailey popped up into another moon salt double knees. So

<v Speaker 1>night in Shafir, they're getting into it again. Now on

<v Speaker 1>the outside they start arguing that allows Wheeler you to

<v Speaker 1>trip up Bailey while the referee was distracted. All of

<v Speaker 1>a sudden we see Darby Allen, and Darby Allen appears

<v Speaker 1>in the crowd behind Wheeler Udah. He places a rag

<v Speaker 1>over his face. I guess he's chloroforming him or whatever

<v Speaker 1>it is, and he drags him out of the building.

<v Speaker 1>He kidnaps him, so Moxley was distracted. Bailey got a

<v Speaker 1>quick roll up for two. Bailey went back to the armbreaker,

<v Speaker 1>Moxley spun out, he sank in a choke, and then

<v Speaker 1>he spiked Bailey with a death rider for the win.

<v Speaker 1>After the match, Moxley and Shafir, they scrambled through the crowd,

<v Speaker 1>presumably goes save Wheeler Dah. Either that or they were

<v Speaker 1>just going to look for Darby Allen and didn't give

<v Speaker 1>a fuck about Wheeler Youda. So that was the opening match,

<v Speaker 1>and you know, it was fine, it was, it was

<v Speaker 1>what it was. It was solid enough that the real

<v Speaker 1>focus here wasn't even so much Moxley against Speedball. It

<v Speaker 1>was the Shenanigans with Darby Allen. But outside later, and

<v Speaker 1>we're skipping ahead a couple of segments here, but the

<v Speaker 1>continuation of this came a.

<v Speaker 2>Little bit later.

<v Speaker 1>Moxley and Shaffir they're out in the parking line now

<v Speaker 1>and they find Wheeler Dah. We don't know that it's

<v Speaker 1>him right away, but there is clearly a body lying

<v Speaker 1>on the ground outside of the parking lot in a

<v Speaker 1>body bag, and so they go over and they Darby's

<v Speaker 1>about to run him over with his truck. Okay, attempted

<v Speaker 1>murder here on Dynamite death Riders, pull you out of

<v Speaker 1>the way just in time. Darby pulls up, he stops

<v Speaker 1>his truck, he looks out the window at Moxley, and

<v Speaker 1>then he just floors it and he drives away, and

<v Speaker 1>that's how this came to an end. Then they unzipped

<v Speaker 1>the body bag wheeler Ude was inside and stuck to

<v Speaker 1>his forehead is a sign that simply says Forbidden Door.

<v Speaker 2>Again.

<v Speaker 1>Great, we're gonna get Moxley and Darby it Forbidden Door.

<v Speaker 2>I ask you, what is what is the what is.

<v Speaker 1>The attraction of that being on the Forbidden Door card

<v Speaker 1>when the majority of the so far are strictly AW matches.

<v Speaker 1>It's just very weird. The timing of this show is

<v Speaker 1>very weird. Now they've already moved I think something like

<v Speaker 1>fifteen thousand tickets for the show. They obviously have a

<v Speaker 1>lot of fans over in London. They didn't get a

<v Speaker 1>stadium show this year. They'll go back to Wembley next year,

<v Speaker 1>so they're doing it at the two, so it's going

<v Speaker 1>to be a packed building. It's going to be a

<v Speaker 1>hot crowd. Forbidden Door is still a hot ticket for

<v Speaker 1>this company. I'm just waiting for the actual Forbidden Door

<v Speaker 1>portion of the show to kick in to see what

<v Speaker 1>those matches are going to look like and how many

<v Speaker 1>of those matches there will be relative to the AW

<v Speaker 1>only matches of which this is one. Now, this match

<v Speaker 1>has not been made official yet, but obviously it will

<v Speaker 1>be very soon. Yeah, Mike says aw bought all the

<v Speaker 1>new Japan Top talent. Basically they basically did. Yeah, they

<v Speaker 1>basically signed them away and we'll see. I mean, we

<v Speaker 1>haven't heard anything new on the will Osprey front, him

<v Speaker 1>and his two herniated discs. He did say he was

<v Speaker 1>going to try to make it back in time for

<v Speaker 1>Forbidden Door.

<v Speaker 2>I mean, you know what if his goal is.

<v Speaker 1>To be back and to be cleared in time to

<v Speaker 1>work a match on the Forbidden Door show, in all honesty,

<v Speaker 1>the safest match probably for him would be Tanahashi. Tanahashi

<v Speaker 1>is wrestling his last ever UK match on that show.

<v Speaker 1>I cannot think of a safer, better opponent for him

<v Speaker 1>if he's still dealing with that injury than Hiroshi Tanahashi. So,

<v Speaker 1>I mean, that may be the way to go, honestly,

<v Speaker 1>and it'll be the best opponent for Tanahashi, you know,

<v Speaker 1>to give him the best match possible. So Renee Piquette,

<v Speaker 1>she was all over this show tonight. She was backstage

<v Speaker 1>with Timeless Tony Storm and Missus will Osprey Alex Windsor

<v Speaker 1>to talk about both the Fatal four way tonight for

<v Speaker 1>the TBS Championship spot. There's multiple spots, but there's one

<v Speaker 1>spot for an AW challenger, and that match was coming

<v Speaker 1>up later in the show. Windsor was a part of

<v Speaker 1>that match, but also to talk about the AW Women's

<v Speaker 1>World title match of Forbidden Door, because Tony Storm is

<v Speaker 1>defending against Athena. Storm said that tonight is a menagerie

<v Speaker 1>of bruising, brawling bitches, something that she used to dream of.

<v Speaker 1>If there's anything that she knows about this non sexual

<v Speaker 1>friendship with Windsor, you can beat us down, but you

<v Speaker 1>cannot beat.

<v Speaker 2>Us off.

<v Speaker 1>All right, then I suppose that is kind of true.

<v Speaker 1>That would be difficult to do.

<v Speaker 2>I would imagine we.

<v Speaker 1>Had a TVs Championship four way qualifier, speaking of which,

<v Speaker 1>with Alex Windsor, Queen sky Blue and Billy Starks, who

<v Speaker 1>was out there with Athena. Tony Storm made her entrance.

<v Speaker 1>She was going to be in Alex Windsor's corner. Sky

<v Speaker 1>Blue found herself being a ping pong at the beginning

<v Speaker 1>of this match in between Amanada and Windsor. So after

<v Speaker 1>a break Ami Nada and Blue they were slugging it

<v Speaker 1>out and sky Blue threw a kick and then she

<v Speaker 1>tried to code Blue. Windsor though cut it off with

<v Speaker 1>a Blue thunderbomb. Starks broke up the cover with a facebuster,

<v Speaker 1>only to then run into a pop up power bomb

<v Speaker 1>by Alex Windsor, so the sharpshooter was applied on Billy Starks.

<v Speaker 1>Ami Nada booted Windsor for the break. Blue and Billy

<v Speaker 1>Starks cut them both off and traded kicks on one

<v Speaker 1>another until Windsor and Amunada dropped both with stereo German

<v Speaker 1>sup plexes and headbuts before they threw one at each other.

<v Speaker 1>That gave us a reset here in this match, So

<v Speaker 1>Windsor was looking for a superplex. Sky Blue, though countered

<v Speaker 1>into an avalanche Code Blue. Ami Nada broke up the

<v Speaker 1>count with a reverse DDT. Billy Dove flew in with

<v Speaker 1>a swanton flatt and poor sky Blue here in the process,

<v Speaker 1>Ami Nada popped up hit a rolling sup plex for

<v Speaker 1>two of her own, and then outside the ring there

<v Speaker 1>was a very embarrassing spot and what happened is sky

<v Speaker 1>Blue tried to do a Code Blue onto a chair.

<v Speaker 1>There's a chair that was set up outside and she

<v Speaker 1>was going to do a Code Blue to Ami Nada

<v Speaker 1>onto the chair. Ami Nada just stood there hunched over

<v Speaker 1>like as sky Blue was trying to maneuver her her

<v Speaker 1>body to do this move. It really just felt like

<v Speaker 1>she couldn't get in the right position. But ami Nada

<v Speaker 1>is hunched over and I guess sky because maybe she

<v Speaker 1>was supposed to counter out of it.

<v Speaker 2>Sky Blue thought that that's what she had done.

<v Speaker 1>But really this was on sky Blue here, This just

<v Speaker 1>it just looked really bad. And sky Blue ended up

<v Speaker 1>throwing herself forward into the chair face first, literally just

<v Speaker 1>threw herself into the chair, and there was like this

<v Speaker 1>delay of a second or two that she had and

<v Speaker 1>she went and did it anyway, and amiad Is still

<v Speaker 1>just hunched over there like it was. It was not good.

<v Speaker 1>It just looked terrible. So Amiennada ended up delivering a

<v Speaker 1>reverse DDT onto the chair after that to try to

<v Speaker 1>salvage the spot. I mean, look, shit happens, but it

<v Speaker 1>was bad.

<v Speaker 2>I don't know. I mean, maybe maybe John Cena threw

<v Speaker 2>her into the chair. Someone did.

<v Speaker 1>probably going on Google Maps and just pointing out these

<v Speaker 1>little villages and little towns in these obscure places all

<v Speaker 1>their titles. Like I just saw a Fantastic four yesterday.

<v Speaker 1>hanging off of her. She needs assistance from a production

<v Speaker 1>assistantor whoever it is, a ringside to help her into

<v Speaker 1>the ring. So she and this is her first appearance

<v Speaker 1>on TV, by the way, since she lost to Tony

<v Speaker 1>Storm in Texas last month. She gets into the ring

<v Speaker 1>and now she's handing off her belts one at a time,

<v Speaker 1>feeding them to Aubrey Edwards. But she's got the one

<v Speaker 1>title on her that matters in this situation, which is

<v Speaker 1>the TBS title. As she confronts Alex Windsor, who is

<v Speaker 1>going to be part of a four way match now

<v Speaker 1>at Forbidden Door, for the championship. So as Tony Storm

<v Speaker 1>gets into the ring to get ready to join Alex

<v Speaker 1>Windsor in case shit goes down, she doesn't notice that

<v Speaker 1>Athena has climbed up to the top and she comes

<v Speaker 1>flying in with an O face and she drops Tony Storm.

<v Speaker 1>Mercedes Monnet then hits Alex Windsor with a backstabber when

<v Speaker 1>Windsor turns around to see what's going on. So now

<v Speaker 1>she's down on the mat and we have Mercedes and

<v Speaker 1>we have Athena, and they come face to face in

<v Speaker 1>the middle of the ring. They don't touch, they don't embrace,

<v Speaker 1>they don't shake hands, but they don't touch. It's almost

<v Speaker 1>like there's this understood, unsaid truce between them, and Athena

<v Speaker 1>ends up leaving the ring. So winsor getting a championship

<v Speaker 1>types of matches go, it was a very violent, bloody match.

<v Speaker 1>carried out and they were teasing that he was injured.

<v Speaker 1>he had some MRIs done and his doctors told him

<v Speaker 1>that he was going to need some very invasive major

<v Speaker 1>surgery and he's blaming it on Kyle Fletcher. Basically, they

<v Speaker 1>needs double knee replacement surgery, which is a big deal

<v Speaker 1>for someone who is still an active performer and not

<v Speaker 1>a young active performer. He said he's having a double

<v Speaker 1>knee replacement, but he's not done yet. He's going to

<v Speaker 1>match challenge the Hurt Syndicate at Forbidden Door. So during

<v Speaker 1>the Young Bucks entrance, the set malfunctioned. Basically, there was

<v Speaker 1>a screen that was supposed to rise up. It rose

<v Speaker 1>up only a few inches and then it got stuck.

<v Speaker 1>So they're trying to like force it up. It's not

<v Speaker 1>going up. So they were forced to crawl underneath the

<v Speaker 1>screen to make their way out onto the stage.

<v Speaker 2>And remember the I know earlier that they.

<v Speaker 1>Handed off to the production assistant the stage hand to

<v Speaker 1>give to Justin Roberts for him to read. Well, Justin

<v Speaker 1>did read it, but he ended up reading it verbatim

<v Speaker 1>exactly as it was written, so like instructions in all

<v Speaker 1>and it was just a list of complaints that they had.

<v Speaker 1>So then they do their young bucks pose they're waiting

<v Speaker 1>for the pyro to go off. There's no pyro initially,

<v Speaker 1>also had the lower third on the screen, little kyron

<v Speaker 1>on the bottom of the screen, and it's listed their

<v Speaker 1>names as Max and Jeremy Buck. Now, of course that's

<v Speaker 1>going back aways because they were Max and Jeremy Buck

<v Speaker 1>in TNA.

<v Speaker 2>That was see, that was great. When I saw the.

<v Speaker 1>Max and Jeremy named plate on the bottom of the screen,

<v Speaker 1>I said, Okay, that's that's fucking that's fucking funny. I

<v Speaker 1>was going back to the Generation Me days of TNA.

<v Speaker 1>So again, I've been very entertained by these jabber entrances

<v Speaker 1>that they've been getting over the last few weeks. Bandido

<v Speaker 1>took down Matt and Nick with a torneo. Brody King

<v Speaker 1>tagged in took out both Bucks with a double clothesline.

<v Speaker 1>Bandido then used Brody's assistance to scale the ropes and

<v Speaker 1>land of Moon Salt onto both bucks on the floor.

<v Speaker 1>The Bucks took control, though after a break, Nick flew

<v Speaker 1>in with a springboard hurrican Arana on Brody before sending

<v Speaker 1>Bandido crashing outside risky business on Brody King, who kicked out.

<v Speaker 1>Nick continued to keep the big man down in the corner.

<v Speaker 1>We got an assisted sliced bread into a running boot

<v Speaker 1>that got in near fall. Matt wanted more bang for

<v Speaker 1>your buck, collapsed though under the weight of Brody King.

<v Speaker 1>With him on his back, King fired off a forearm

<v Speaker 1>flatten Nick in midair. Bandido made the tag. Nick hit

<v Speaker 1>his slingshot facebuster on Bandido and then the comeback moon

<v Speaker 1>salt on the floor to Brody King. As the Bucks

<v Speaker 1>followed up with the assisted swanton only for two King

<v Speaker 1>got low bridged. After making the save, Matt hit a

<v Speaker 1>blockbuster off the apron. Nick connected on an escalera onto

<v Speaker 1>Bandido that took us into a second commercial break. So

<v Speaker 1>the Bucks couldn't decide on what to call the EVP trigger.

<v Speaker 1>It's not the EVP trigger anymore, so they're arguing about

<v Speaker 1>this in the middle of the match. That caused enough

<v Speaker 1>of a delay to allow Bandido to dodge it make

<v Speaker 1>the hot tag to Brody There was this great spot,

<v Speaker 1>this great double team spot where Brody King was by

<v Speaker 1>the ropes. The bucks are outside, and Bandido was going

<v Speaker 1>to obviously do some kind of a dive. So he runs,

<v Speaker 1>he hits the ropes and he comes off, and basically

<v Speaker 1>King helped launch him a little bit higher into the air.

<v Speaker 1>And I mean, really it was a very basic dive,

<v Speaker 1>but it looked great because Bandido got this hangtime. It's

<v Speaker 1>almost like he was suspended in mid air for like

<v Speaker 1>a good couple of seconds there before he actually landed

<v Speaker 1>on the bucks and everybody popped and it got over great.

<v Speaker 1>It just it looked great. Bandido is awesome. I mean,

<v Speaker 1>I know I've said it before. It doesn't take a

<v Speaker 1>rocket scientist to figure it out, but Bandido is fucking great.

<v Speaker 2>Even before he got.

<v Speaker 1>Injured with the wrist, and now we're going back like

<v Speaker 1>a year and a half, it sucked that he got

<v Speaker 1>hurt because even then he was building momentum and he

<v Speaker 1>hadn't even been on TV for that long, like people

<v Speaker 1>knew who he was, but he was still relatively new

<v Speaker 1>to the company. But he gets over. It doesn't matter

<v Speaker 1>what crowd he's in front of. He's just a fun

<v Speaker 1>performer to watch, and obviously he's a tremendous athlete. And

<v Speaker 1>the stuff he does in there is unbelievable, but it's

<v Speaker 1>just it's cool to see him getting that exposure and

<v Speaker 1>getting over in front of whatever crowd he might be in.

<v Speaker 2>It's been consistent with him.

<v Speaker 1>From day one, so I'm glad he was able to

<v Speaker 1>make it back from the injury and basically pick up

<v Speaker 1>where he left off.

<v Speaker 2>So that was a great spot we had.

<v Speaker 1>Matt. He was into the ring with a facebuster on Bandido,

<v Speaker 1>but he got crouched in the corner by Brody.

<v Speaker 2>Who hit a huge superplex.

<v Speaker 1>Brodido tried their double team catapult monkey flip that they do. Bandido,

<v Speaker 1>though crashed and burned hard on the mat TK driver

<v Speaker 1>connected by the bucks King broke up the count, so

<v Speaker 1>Matt scaled the ropes. He spiked Bandido with a DDT

<v Speaker 1>on the apron, immediately went and tried to do the

<v Speaker 1>exact same thing on the apron to Brody King, but

<v Speaker 1>he was able to catch him in mid air. He

<v Speaker 1>powered him up into a death valley driver on the apron.

<v Speaker 1>Nick was there though, to save his brother with the

<v Speaker 1>tornado DDT off the apron to the floor to Brody King,

<v Speaker 1>Nick and Bandido. They fought while both men stood on

<v Speaker 1>the barricade. We had like a little duel standing on

<v Speaker 1>top of the barricade here and and Nick hit a superkick.

<v Speaker 1>He charged Bandido press slammed him up into the air,

<v Speaker 1>and then dropped him down onto his brother, all while

<v Speaker 1>standing on the barricade. Back inside, Bandido hit the twenty

<v Speaker 1>one plex to Matt, but Nick broke up the pin.

<v Speaker 1>King wiped out Nick with a toe pey. Bandido flatten

<v Speaker 1>Matt with an avalanche fallaway slam, only for a two

<v Speaker 1>count sent on from King. This time Broddo was successful,

<v Speaker 1>landing the monkey flip four fifty splash and they got

<v Speaker 1>the pin. The highlight of the show was this match

<v Speaker 1>right here. This was an excellent match, a surprising outcome

<v Speaker 1>for some I mean not for me, But I could

<v Speaker 1>see where some people might be shocked by that outcome, figuring, oh,

<v Speaker 1>of course they're gonna do the FTR Bucks rematch in

<v Speaker 1>the finals of the tournament. But it never it never

<v Speaker 1>made any sense to me. Like to me, I would

<v Speaker 1>have had the Outrunners win in the opening round. I

<v Speaker 1>was surprised and disappointed when they had them beat the

<v Speaker 1>Outrunners again. But when I say again, I mean the

<v Speaker 1>Outrunners have lost most of the big matches they've been

<v Speaker 1>in recently, including two matches with FTR, so that was

<v Speaker 1>a little surprising to me. Them not going to the

<v Speaker 1>finals to do two heeled teams against each other should

<v Speaker 1>not have really been a surprise to anybody. And again

<v Speaker 1>they're doing their whole down and their luck thing. They

<v Speaker 1>lost the EVP titles, they're getting job job or entrances.

<v Speaker 1>Everyone's making fun of them, like it's okay for the

<v Speaker 1>Bucks to lose. It kind of fits the gimmick that

<v Speaker 1>they're doing right now. Nothing is going right for these two.

<v Speaker 1>Broddo is a great team. I mean that name is

<v Speaker 1>I mean whatever I mean. I guess it kind of

<v Speaker 1>makes sense. But it's this team that came out of

<v Speaker 1>nowhere and they work great together and they're already super over.

<v Speaker 1>But what I love about it is now we get

<v Speaker 1>not only a great match in the finals where we

<v Speaker 1>get them against FTR. But again, you could argue for

<v Speaker 1>either one of those teams to go on to wrestle

<v Speaker 1>the Hurt Syndicate in London. FTR would seem to make

<v Speaker 1>the most sense. I would imagine it's going to be

<v Speaker 1>them going to the pay per view, but it can

<v Speaker 1>very easily be Brody Kingham Bandido.

<v Speaker 2>Why not.

<v Speaker 1>If you want a solid, baby faced team to go

<v Speaker 1>in there against the Hurt Syndicate.

<v Speaker 2>There you go, you got one right there.

<v Speaker 1>FTR probably is going to be the choice at the

<v Speaker 1>end of all this. They're probably gonna get that shot.

<v Speaker 1>But this is great. Yeah, I think this is a

<v Speaker 1>great final match that they've set up. Now it's the

<v Speaker 1>correct outcome. But whoever it is that goes in there

<v Speaker 1>against the Hurt Syndicate, either way, the Hurt Syndicate should

<v Speaker 1>lose those titles. If Forbidden Door had those titles for

<v Speaker 1>a very long time, and I think the time has come. Well,

<v Speaker 1>whether or not you want MJF to get involved in

<v Speaker 1>that and kind of cost them the match because there's

<v Speaker 1>been issues, he.

<v Speaker 2>Was kicked out.

<v Speaker 1>He's not even part of the Hurt Syndicate anymore. You

<v Speaker 1>could do that, I mean, that would be their way

<v Speaker 1>of sort of protecting Lashlee in Benjamin if they didn't

<v Speaker 1>want them to just get beat clean.

<v Speaker 2>You could certainly do that.

<v Speaker 1>But I am of the opinion that the time has

<v Speaker 1>come and they should drop those belts at Forbidden Door. Now,

<v Speaker 1>Renee was backstage with the Hurt Syndicate. MVP extends a

<v Speaker 1>congratulations to Brodido for winning the match, and they will

<v Speaker 1>be more than happy to hurt them or FTR forbidden door,

<v Speaker 1>it doesn't matter.

<v Speaker 1>And Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin immediately turn and leave.

<v Speaker 1>this sentiment has been expressed by a number of talents

<v Speaker 1>on the rosters. Supposedly, MJF has made it known that

<v Speaker 1>he does not like Speedball.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, you talk about a random news item that

<v Speaker 1>came from out of nowhere, like, okay, he.

<v Speaker 2>Doesn't like Speedball.

<v Speaker 1>Mike Bailey doesn't say why he doesn't like Speedball, he

<v Speaker 1>just doesn't like him, and allegedly did not want Bobby

<v Speaker 1>Lashley and Shelton Benjamin losing to Jet Speed when they

<v Speaker 1>have their tag team title match. It's not clear why

<v Speaker 1>MVP dislikes Bailey or if the Hurt Syndicate was ever

<v Speaker 1>actually planned to lose to Jet Speed. The report also

<v Speaker 1>states that MVP turned down pitches for the Hurt Syndicate

<v Speaker 1>to lose to FTR at all in and at Forbidden Door.

<v Speaker 1>MVP reportedly suggested they would rather lose to the Gates

<v Speaker 1>of Agony, the Outrunners or Private Party, all teams that

<v Speaker 1>they have I believe wrestled and beaten in the past.

<v Speaker 1>I don't know about the Gates of Agony. Maybe they

<v Speaker 1>didn't wrestle them, but I know they've wrestled the other teams.

<v Speaker 1>There is said to be frustration within the aw locker

<v Speaker 1>room that the Faction beats everybody up and then goes

<v Speaker 1>and high fives the fans and does cool moves when

<v Speaker 1>they're supposed to be heels. It was also noted that

<v Speaker 1>the story aligne with MJF was originally supposed to go longer,

<v Speaker 1>although there is no reported heat between MJF and the

<v Speaker 1>Hurt Syndicate. So that was the report that came out

<v Speaker 1>last night. Now I don't know. I don't know whether

<v Speaker 1>or not MVP has turned down pitches for the Hurt

<v Speaker 1>Syndicate to lose the tag team titles. I don't know, frankly,

<v Speaker 1>why he would be in a position to tell Tony

<v Speaker 1>Khan what teams the Hurt Syndicate should or should not

<v Speaker 1>be losing to. Because now you're getting into a creative

<v Speaker 1>control issue right, or it may not be written into

<v Speaker 1>an actual written contract. But where you have people who

<v Speaker 1>feel like, you know what the old Hogan thing, you

<v Speaker 1>know that don't work for me, brother, and you know,

<v Speaker 1>you start getting into that and that's where you get

<v Speaker 1>yourself into trouble. So that doesn't even make a whole

<v Speaker 1>run into Speedball in the hallway who's filming and MVP

<v Speaker 1>just walks up to him and goes, fuck you, Speedball,

<v Speaker 1>was some other dialogue and then it was over. So

<v Speaker 1>obviously they're just playing having fun with the report and

<v Speaker 1>playing off of it. That does not necessarily mean the

<v Speaker 1>report is inaccurate. It just means that it could be

<v Speaker 1>accurate and it's not all that serious, and they're just

<v Speaker 1>having some fun with it to try to.

<v Speaker 1>AW World Championship. And wouldn't you know, at that exact moment,

<v Speaker 1>we had the AW World champion walk in, so his

<v Speaker 1>first and only appearance so far of the night. Hangman

<v Speaker 1>Adam Page walks in and he's looking at Mark and

<v Speaker 1>he says, we've known each other a long time. Pwx

<v Speaker 1>The main event of this show was MJF one on

<v Speaker 1>one with Mark Briscoe, and as Renee pointed out earlier

<v Speaker 1>in the show, this was the fourth straight week that

<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe has been in the main event of this show.

<v Speaker 1>He was on the winning side of a trios match

<v Speaker 1>a few weeks ago over the Death Riders. He got

<v Speaker 1>to win over Claudio, he got to win over Ricochet

<v Speaker 1>last week, and now here we are him against MJF.

<v Speaker 1>The match very early in, spilled out into the crowd.

<v Speaker 1>They brawled around, made their way back to ringside. Brisco

<v Speaker 1>hit a neck beard. He yeah, sitting in the front row.

<v Speaker 1>He hit a neck breaker on the floor, a little

<v Speaker 1>slip of the tongue there, and then he set up

<v Speaker 1>a table outside the ring. Brisco set up for a

<v Speaker 1>froggy bow.

<v Speaker 2>MJF, though, got to.

<v Speaker 1>His feet, pulled the referee into the line of fire

<v Speaker 1>to cause a diversion, and in the middle of all

<v Speaker 1>this he poked.

<v Speaker 2>Brisco in the eye.

<v Speaker 1>Brisco started to comeback as the show returned from Brake.

<v Speaker 2>He took to the top rope. MJF.

<v Speaker 1>They'll rolled to the floor. Brisco jumped down to the apron.

<v Speaker 1>He delivered an elbow drop on the outside tossed MJF

<v Speaker 1>back into the ring, but he rolled right back out

<v Speaker 1>to the floor on the opposite side of the ring.

<v Speaker 1>Brisco then dove out onto MJF and sent him into

<v Speaker 1>the barricade. He placed MJF onto the table that was

<v Speaker 1>set up at ringside, and he climbed up to the

<v Speaker 1>top rope. MJF then rolled off the table and back

<v Speaker 1>into the ring. He cut Brisco off with a kick

<v Speaker 1>and then dropped him with an Alabama slam. MJF applied

<v Speaker 1>to Boston Crab. Brisco rolled him into an inside cradle,

<v Speaker 1>only for two. Brisco came up with a bloody mouth.

<v Speaker 1>At that point, he climbed to the top again and

<v Speaker 1>MJF knocked him down. MJF set up for a tombstone.

<v Speaker 1>He's gonna give this guy a tombstone. Pile of driver

<v Speaker 1>from the middle rope. We've seen him do this a

<v Speaker 1>few times before. Brisco escaped sent MJF back down with

<v Speaker 1>an uppercut. Brisco then delivered froggy bow made a late

<v Speaker 1>cover though.

<v Speaker 2>So we only got two.

<v Speaker 1>So they ended up on the floor again and again.

<v Speaker 1>Brisco sets MJF up on the table. He took to

<v Speaker 1>the top rope. He launched himself. MJF, though, moved out

<v Speaker 1>of the way and Mark Briscoe crashed and burned through

<v Speaker 1>the table. That table exploded upon impact. MJF rolled into

<v Speaker 1>the ring. He was more than happy to take the

<v Speaker 1>count out. When referee starts counting Briscoe. He got up,

<v Speaker 1>but he fell down at eight. Got back up though,

<v Speaker 1>got back into the ring just in time. MJF delivered

<v Speaker 1>a heat seeker and he covered him and the referee

<v Speaker 1>counted three. Despite the fact that Mark Briscoe got his

<v Speaker 1>foot on the bottom rope. Somehow he did not see this,

<v Speaker 1>so Briscoe pleaded his case to the referee to no avail.

<v Speaker 1>MJF assaulted him after the match. He punched him in

<v Speaker 1>the face after putting on the dynamite diamond ring, which

<v Speaker 1>busted Briscoe open, so now he was bleeding and it

<v Speaker 1>also brought out Hangman Adam Page, MJF and Page they brawled,

<v Speaker 1>they had to be separated by officials. MJF escaped into

<v Speaker 1>the crowd. Hangman went to go check on Briscoe, and

<v Speaker 1>MJF returned to the scene to go run his mouth.

<v Speaker 1>So Hangman and MJF brawled into the craft for a

<v Speaker 1>little bit. They came back to ringside, Hangman set up

<v Speaker 1>for a buckshot. Lariot I thought they were going to

<v Speaker 1>cut the show off because the copyright was.

<v Speaker 2>Already up on screen.

<v Speaker 1>They were already almost ten minutes past the hour, and

<v Speaker 1>so he's setting up for a buck shot and MJF

<v Speaker 1>ducks out of the ring on the opposite side to

<v Speaker 1>avoid that, and that is how the show went off

<v Speaker 1>the air. But again, this show had a good like

<v Speaker 1>ten minute or almost ten minute overrun that really was

<v Speaker 1>not warranted. Like this show tonight did not warrant a

<v Speaker 1>ten minute overrun. It was not needed. The match itself

<v Speaker 1>was okay. It felt like a good chunk of it

<v Speaker 1>though was just Mark Briscoe climbing. He would climb to

<v Speaker 1>the top, MJF would roll away, he'd climb down, and

<v Speaker 1>then he'd climb up again. So there was a lot

<v Speaker 1>of that here in this match. The finish, though, it

<v Speaker 1>leaves open the possibility two things. Either we're going to

<v Speaker 1>get another match one on one between MJF and brisco

<v Speaker 1>possibly with a stipulation. They could do it on TV

<v Speaker 1>in the next couple of weeks, and the winner of

<v Speaker 1>that match formally will become number one contender for the

<v Speaker 1>world title, and that could be the match against Hangman

<v Speaker 1>at Forbidden Door. The other option is that Mark brisco

<v Speaker 1>gets added to this match.

<v Speaker 2>We get Hangman in MJF.

<v Speaker 1>But Mark Briscoe gets added because he's really been getting

<v Speaker 1>quite the push over the last few weeks. Maybe they

<v Speaker 1>want him in that match. Maybe they want him and

<v Speaker 1>he's earned the right to have a spot in a

<v Speaker 1>pay per view title match main event, and we get

<v Speaker 1>a triple threat. That match doesn't really appeal to me.

<v Speaker 1>For being honest, I'd rather it be one on one.

<v Speaker 1>The match should be Hangman and MJF, not Hangman and

<v Speaker 1>Mark Briscoe. So I hope that that's the scenario that

<v Speaker 1>you know, plays itself out if in fact they're going

<v Speaker 1>to do that match. I mean, obviously Hangman to be

<v Speaker 1>on that show. If he's going to be on the show,

<v Speaker 1>he should be defending his Championship. You know, the match

<v Speaker 1>against MJF is the one that makes the most sense.

<v Speaker 1>So on the whole, I thought it was a solid show.
